Opening of new facility at LVR Saturday September 22nd at 2pm.

Mark your calendars for this Saturday, September 22nd, at 2 PM for the opening of the new Tennis/Pickleball courts above LVR in Nelson. Many of us have been playing regularly at LVR already, and the general consensus is that the courts are FABULOUS! Thanks to all the hard work by members of the Nelson Tennis Club, funding and input from SD8 and the Columbia Basin Trust Recreation Infrastructure Program, we are indeed fortunate to be able to use this new facility. 

If you would like to use the courts free for the rest of the season, pre-pay your 2019 LVR Pickleball fees (or make a $25 non-refundable deposit on 2019 fees) now. You’ll find the rates on this page: http://www.nelsontennisclub.com/product-category/pickleball-membership/  These rates are NOT part of the Nelson Pickleball Club’s membership, which you’ll be hearing about shortly, along with information about indoor court rental times at Mary Hall. 

In short: Adult fees for use of the LVR courts for 2019 is $75. A couple’s fee is $125 (a saving of $25).  If paid in full, or if a non-refundable deposit of $25 is paid this year, you can play on the LVR courts free for the rest of 2018. If you do not pay now, a one-time use of the courts fee is $5. Considering the good weather that is in store for the rest of the month, and into October, paying your 2019 fees (or at least a downpayment of $25) seems like an excellent bargain.
