Winter (indoor) play is in Mary Hall Gym in Selkirk College's 10th St. Campus). Signup for winter play at this link. Summer (outdoor) play is at LVR (Nelson High School) Sign up here. No signup is necessary for Lakeside. Nelson Pickleball Club membership is separate from membership in the Nelson Tennis Club. Purchase Pickleball access here, which allows you to use the outdoor courts at the LVR High School, or you can pay a $5 user fee. The (honour system) black box is outside the pickleball courts. Click here for directions to NPC's CODE OF CONDUCT and MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM. All members, old and new, need to fill out a membership form, which you can bring with you (starting October) when playing at Mary Hall. The $20 membership fee does not include membership in PCO (Pickleball Canada) or PBC (Pickleball BC) which can be joined separately.

New Pickleball Courts for Nelson at LV Rogers High School

As you might have heard, the new courts up at LVR are finished. A few of us have tried them out and they are fabulous. 

This is a note that a received from the Tennis Club, as they are the ones who built the courts.

The Grand Opening is on Saturday September 22 at 2 pm.
It would be great if you could invite the pickleball crowd to come and enjoy the festivities and the free play. If there is more than 12, could you please organise the court sharing and check for non-marking footwear (it's like having a new car).
The Opening Promotional Offer involves a deposit ($25 or $50, not sure which yet) on a 2019 membership (pb adult $75; tennis adult $150; combo $175) and play the rest of the season on the new courts for free. Otherwise, the drop-in fee is $5/person for pb and $10/person for tennis. There will be a sign-up booth at the Opening and we will set up an online pay option at nelsontennisclub.com.

Play times will be posted online as well and also at the courts as soon as we hear back from LVR PE Dept. 

The fee structure is the minimum necessary as NTC will be responsible for pb court maintenance and future resurfacing.
